We have resumed Walking

Honesty is our oldest martyr. W.I.S.H. died for honesty. Now, we have been resurrected and are once again accepting submissions.  We hope to see old readers and writers return, and to have the usual onslaught of terrific poems and art pieces hit our inbox.

How we go about publishing has changed dramatically.  We now provide web-based issues and the usual blog post publishing, but the logistics for publication have changed slightly.  Read our submission guidelines, and shoot your mouth off.

Previously published work is accepted.  Why?  Because we’re not looking to get to your work first. We’re looking to publish what we love and hurts and swoons us.

with love,
Jeremiah, John, & Holly

Oi ! I’m Jeremiah Walton. For the past ~3 years I’ve been bopping around the U.S. between hitchhiking + rubber tramping, running traveling bookstore Books & Shovels + indie publisher Nostrovia! Press. My focus is in-person distribution at open mics + features + busking. Word of mouth is a fulfilling & feels to be a more intimate promotional process. I’ve featured at the NYC Poetry Festival + San Francisco Lit Crawl + Snoetry Cleveland + Beast Crawl Oakland + This Lil Lit Fest + street corners across the country. There’s a handful of my books floating around the country, but most recently is “From Here Til Utopia” (Ghost City Press). Raccoons + coyotes are my companions. Hope you dig the poems, much love, thank you❤

  1. Reblogged this on The Traveling Poet and commented:

My brother, Walking Is Still Honest Press, re-opened to submissions along side myself. Hitch your way over to his submission guidelines and shoot him some of your poetry, artwork, and creativity. Unlike myself, he doesn’t limit submissions to poets ages 12-25. WISH Publishing is an all ages nonprofit publisher aiming at honesty’s throat.
